be hung up and used with the included flex shaft and collet swivel head. This includes a clamp on a bar hanger (!) for mounting to a workbench just for that purpose. With everything included I find it exceptionally affordable! The basic rotary tool is powerful and features speed control selectable from 8,000 to 35,000 rpm with no load. I prefer a plug-in tool like this over a battery-powered tool because of the speed and most importantly, the unmatched performance! I have used it for sanding, smoothing and shaping and have been very happy with the tool's performance. The first 3 pictures show the set in the case. The list has a great breakdown of all the parts that are included. I show the tool on/off rocker switch and speed control in pics 4 and 5. The selection of included wheels, grinding wheels, mandrels and burrs is pretty good and easy to add. This tool uses a collet head system to hold any small tool shank with a maximum diameter of 1/8 inch. I prefer the Jacobs chuck, which uses a key and 3 jaws to allow for larger bits, but it's significantly more expensive than other rotary tools. This works well with a nut to tighten the collet onto the bit shank using the included collet wrench. I wouldn't call it a "universal" cartridge as I find it a bit misleading. I use Foredom rotation tools all the time for my hobby so I'm very familiar with rotation tools. This is exceptional value with an excellent range of accessories for a solid basic rotary tool. I think that this tool will be useful to almost everyone for amateur-level needlework. I hope you found the information and my review helpful.
