Review on 🔌 HEEMAX Compatible USB Cable Charger by Trevor Bannister

I'm strict with charging cables (with my devices when plugged in) so I've tried a ton of different types and brands in over 10 years. The cords I use daily usually wear out after 3-6 months. The first braided line I tried (not from this manufacturer) started to wear out after a few weeks and died within 60 days. So I hesitated to try another. I bought this in June 2021, it is now October. The weave is coarse (feels like twisted metallic DMC embroidery floss) that feels stiffer than the last braided cord, but this doesn't compromise its flexibility. After 90+ days and many drops of the device, there is no wear, kinks or loosening on either end. It looks and works like new. I wasn't sure about the lighted end, but it turned out to be very handy for plugging it in in the dark and finding a phone in the dark that got lost in pillows or blankets. No more stepping on the end in the dark. This is a constant light (not flickering, not very bright) that glows when the USB3A end is plugged into a power source. If it is unplugged from the wall outlet/charger or there is a power failure, the blue indicator will turn off. You will need a fast charging connector and charger to take advantage of the cables' fast charging capabilities. As for ergonomics? I have large hands and fingers so the small spot where the end connects to the cable is not ergonomic for me. The ends of the connector are longer than others, giving you room to hold the end for insertion while not bending or mangling the cable. I would call this cable protector more than ergonomic. I am very glad that I tried this cable. The lighted finish made me want to try it. Price for 2 - excellent value for money. So far I'm impressed. *I will update this review if it breaks before the 6 month/180 day mark*
