Review on 🚚 MAXXHAUL 70094 12V Trailer Light Kit: Ultimate Lighting Solution for Trailers Under 80 by Darryl Jennings

Partial review. more of a warning.

I only received them today so I haven't had time to test/fit them yet. However, due to negative feedback from others, I have decided to take these lights apart and point out all the hazard (red) and warning (yellow) points where water will definitely (red) or could (yellow) get into and cause these lights them to work. eventually it will fail or fail. It seems that the dark gray foam lining around the lenses "should" hold water, but will have to test this to see how well it performs in that regard. The yellow marker lights have two small holes (red arrows) that will ABSOLUTELY let water into your light. All other areas marked with yellow arrows are areas that can get water. And since I don't think hot glue is waterproof, I'll redo all the hot glue dots using the correct caulk. With these changes made and the imperfections fixed, I see no reason why these lights shouldn't work beautifully. 18 gauge wire on the light wires and what appears to be the same gauge on the wiring harness. It seems solid and generally of good construction, but I'll know for sure once I've repaired it and tested it for "waterproof" and then plugged it in and tested it. The license plate holder, although made of plastic, feels very stiff and sturdy. Not soft and pliable at all. It may have a downside (more brittle?), but it seems solid overall. I spent less than $10 on this trailer lighting kit after a gift card. So why not perfect it? :-D
