When I ordered this I needed a consistent place for all the 'little things' I had on my desk. Pens, batteries, nail clippers, etc. This part worked well, but what I didn't expect was that the two inner shells were so flimsy (it was only $20), but it's not even half the price. The trays don't fit in the suitcase very well, they dangle when everything comes out. My trays didn't even come out when I first opened it. I thought it was the weight of the monitor (32 inch) but I picked it up and tried again but it was still sticking. I pulled them out once, although they haven't stuck since. Gap 1/4 (top drawer can be lifted with your finger) Bottom play is less, which is good. The depth of the drawers is good too, considering that with a gap in the top drawer it might actually be useful for some people. I just like the fit, even spacing etc. The sizing is good too, I wish my monitor legs weren't sticking out the sides but it's not their fault, I should have measured.
