They seem to hold their shape very well. After the first use, they can simply be pulled onto the tyres. They are a bit tight the first time you use them, but the second time they stretch and work well. Elastic cords with balls seemed a bit difficult to attach covers to at first, but after you figure it out, they tighten up pretty quickly. Take a coat hanger to hang over the back of the hoop, this works really well. Big enough at the bottom to walk on wheel crayons.
