I have used it to sand a timber truck and also to paint cars. It works well, is lightweight, and uses less air than my DA. I used the suction function on the wooden box, but I still had a lot of dust in the air and only a little dust in the collection bag. The speed control is very sensitive, but works effectively. It feels solid in the hand and hopefully will last a long time. My only complaint is that there is no way to block the grinder from working if you put it on its back, so you have to put it on sandpaper so it can get dirty.
