The piece of ventilation grille that was fitted to my caravan deteriorated after a year (despite having covered the ventilation grille it was blown off while driving - what was left was dirty , fragile yellow plastic - on a one year old trailer!). Replaced with this fan that I installed myself. The hardest part of the install was scraping the Dicor sealant off the original fan box. Installing Maxxair couldn't be easier. In addition, the fan is quiet. At low volume, it's not even audible unless you're standing directly underneath. The old PC-style fan had a speed that howled despite drawing almost no air. The Maxxair pulls in a lot more air at low speeds and really pulls in fresh air at high speeds—great for cooling a trailer without turning on the AC.
