I bought two of these and gave one to my daughter. They don't attach to a keychain, which is the most logical place for this little device as many of us hold our keys when going to the car etc. Instead, they are attached to things. therefore, in case of danger, it is not easy to access it quickly or use it effectively. The design is weird too. large button in front. You'd think someone would press that large area on the front of the device to sound an alarm, but that's not the case. Instead, the actual alarm button is much smaller and awkwardly positioned on the side of the device. Unintuitive and the design of the device with a big "fake button" right on the front of the device is really weird. Even if you can find the alarm button, it's not very loud. In fact, I'm wondering if it sounded during an incident, if anyone actually heard it. The device also has a button that lights up with a small green light. Like the alarm clock, I wonder if anyone will notice. i give it back I hope this review is not so much negative as informative. While I don't normally write 'negative' reviews, I thought I should let other mothers, daughters and anyone concerned about their safety know that this alarm didn't work, at least for me.
