I'm a bit disgusted these days when every semi-finished product calls itself "Premium". I was just looking for a replacement for my pretty worn out craft knives. This kit was well priced and it had some extras that I didn't pay much attention to when ordering. Turns out this kit really is on top. The carpet is very heavy - the thickest I have ever seen. While spare blades are common, there isn't much for a stationery mini-cutter. I will always work on 10 blades with 12 sections each. Oftentimes, add-ons are simply things that are added to make the customer feel like they have something special. One of those things is metal rulers. I have a couple of these where the measured length differs by more than 2mm when you reach 100mm. This can be a real problem when trying to achieve precision for something like a 3D printed part. The attached image was taken through my lighted magnifying glass. There's a bit of parallax, but trust me, the ruler and the printed 8mm square on the mat are there. The degrees match my digital protractor just as precisely. Both the main product and the value-added goods are of the highest quality. Highly recommended.
