Battery drains, remotes share signals.
These things are neat, don't get me wrong. I use them for background when streaming and when playing music and love the effect they create, but they have a couple drawbacks. Mainly, the battery seems to drain when they are not in use, meaning frequent charging and less than optimal shelf life. Second, more than one orb will react to the same remote, making setting independent behaviors challenging when in close proximity to each other. they are well worth the money but don't expect more than what you paid for.
