We bought two sets of these lights for a total of 12 to install on our deck. We weren't huge fans of the disco effect that the dynamic color mode put off (fading from one color to the next throughout the night). We decided to stick with the white lights but it's easy enough to switch back and forth if we ever want to use them, though. Our house is south facing so our back deck gets sunlight all day long. These little lights give off the perfect amount of light after sundown to keep it from being too dark on the deck but they aren't so bright that they interfere with the ambiance of the gas firepit. Not only that, but I've noticed them still on at 3 and 4 in the morning which is super cool. AND, you can replace the rechargeable battery inside of them if they ever begin to die out too early in the evening. I can't recommend these highly enough!
