A couple of years ago, there was the identical jug, but it had a mechanical twist in the lid that served as a timer for counting the beginning of use of the filter. I really liked using it, but it eventually broke. After a few years had passed, they went back to utilizing the Brita jugs. In comparison to other providers' offerings, I find the quality to be superior. Even with a coupon, the total price was an absurd $375. I urge you to make the purchase!
