These are the easiest kites I have ever used! We bought them for a trip to the beach but tried them out in our field first. With a light breeze, they just soar and soar as high as you allow. You can't get them to do anything out of the ordinary like go left or right or do circles or anything like that. At the beach we attached them to our cabin and just let them fly for a few hours! It was fun watching the birds fly by to check on them. At night we added a glowing bracelet to one of them and it looked like a flying saucer! They are a lot bigger than we thought and are made out of nylon rather than plastic. We wore them to the beach for hours every day and they still look brand new. They come with separate nylon pouches to store them and then another nylon pouch that fits inside two pouches to keep them together. STRING My big purchase question was whether I should buy a better rope. Well, like I said above, we flew them for hours at the beach for a whole week with no problems. The rope was quite strong and long. I highly recommend buying these if you are going to the beach because if you are trying to buy a kite on the beach it will cost you 3x as much to get the same quality!
