Much better than liquid lighters. So cool and technical! It's basically like a mini Tazer. I believe it can also be used to kill bugs. not that I use it for that. (Hmm, maybe if I see a huge nasty bug.) As a big fan of gadgets, I really enjoy using it, but it's actually useful and more convenient. I've always had trouble with those cheap liquid lighters, but this one gets my burner started right away. I just don't see the point in liquid lighters anymore. They smell, are difficult to start and don't last that long. These electric lighters have clearly made them obsolete. There is an on/off button and once you press it you have to hold it down to activate it so there is less chance of accidental triggering.
