They work well. I've used over a dozen times and they still work great. Good price for a tool box. I use them to create the first few holes in the tile and then can use a more aggressive puncher to finish the process. With proper use, the tile or glazed block should not chip. Start with a small piece and then work your way up to the desired size. It will take a little longer, but you will get great results.
