If you're looking at this article, you probably already figured out how much this repair costs when you're paying someone. At the same time, the price is impressive. As for reliability, I don't know, I just installed it. Now it seems someone has already replaced this fan with an aftermarket fan and it is very similar to the one I have so let's say it lasted at least 4 years. The packaging was amazing. Wow. I installed it on my 2004 Honda Element and used YouTube for help. I found it very easy so don't worry once you see it's not that much you'll laugh in the dealer's face when he tells you how much he wants to get the job done. I was able to do this job in fewer steps, so be sure to check out some videos. I'll post my replacement video as soon as I find the time. If you have any questions let me know and I will update reliability as needed.
