We did a lot of research before we decided on this dehydrator and we haven't regretted it. PROS: It's a workhorse, processing beef jerky as well as peaches, apples, bananas, nectarines, tomatoes, onions, and zucchini (something we tried last week); super easy to clean; works quietly; lightweight and easy to lift to move around the kitchen; Mats designed for use with more liquid foods (like beef jerky) are very easy to clean! CONS: There were no instructions in the box other than a small simple leaflet detailing the type of products to dehydrate and the temperature to use; The control buttons take some getting used to, but are easy to understand after a few uses. We will definitely buy this device again. It's efficient, runs quietly, and is my favorite part (EASY to clean).
