I have to chop down some trees and already have a harness but I took this as a spare as it's so difficult to attach a leash to my other because it's on the back of the seat belts and it's really hard to get to. I think if I cut down this tree, I'll probably be pacing the tree a lot, and I'll have to connect/disconnect a lot, so I didn't want to reach behind my back every time. used it on the roof to help take down an electric periscope that needs to move and he felt safe. be a problem if I accidentally fall; I'm sure it will help me.
