Review on 🔧 Energy Suspension 8.3132G Front Control Arm Bushings - 1 Pack by Sal Muniz

This is a good investment, although maybe not for a beginner DIY project!

I have installed several complete bushing kits on Honda and Toyota. Definitely not a beginner if you can't afford to go back to your project. Just use a gas card and a flashlight to heat the bushings of the original bushing and start pressing firmly on the rubber part. Putting your hand in a vise helps a lot. They will smoke a little, but soon pop out clean. Sand/file/smooth the rest if gummy. Here's a tip. Before installation, put the sleeves in the freezer for a while, they will shrink a little, which will make it easier to press. For pressing you can use a large vise, a manual and rented bearing press, a few more very precise hits with a large hammer. ES recommends lubricating the inside diameter around the metal sleeve rather than the outside diameter (OD). If you can handle it yourself, or would rather not pay a mechanic, you'll save tons and get significantly more precise handling, cornering and braking! There are other brands, but poly is poly. Get the black or "g" versions of your hubs, they're graphite coated and don't squeak, but oh my god the red ones will drive you crazy! Much luck!
