I bought this Ecolar because the one I bought earlier makes my small dog squeak. I didn't make Eclar cause pain. I just want to use it to get my dog's attention when he's doing something unsafe like chasing squirrels outside. I've read a lot about eclars and a lot of people mistakenly use them as a punishment. If they are low enough, you can use them as a tool to get your dog's attention and then treat him in a way that he won't be scared or hurt with ecocolar. I don't feel the need to repeat the settings since the video is already loaded. However, I will focus on a few things. With tuning one and two I personally could not feel any of it. I only started to feel it on the third install. I would say my other in shot one is five shots of it. I think because it's so soft it's perfect for small dogs like mine. She only weighs 9 pounds and I feel comfortable using this on her. I will give another one to someone who has a large dog, like a labrador. The board is very light. I love it. I also like that the remote lights up letting you know which mode you've selected and that it's actually working. The buttons are soft and easy to press. At the bottom of the remote control is a small mirror that lights up with information about it. It tells you which collar you're using (this is useful if you're using two collars), the shock strength, and battery life. My other eclar doesn't tell me the cost so this feature is really useful. I also like that the charger comes with two cables to charge both the remote and the collar at the same time.
