Review on AKG K361BT Bluetooth Studio Headphones - Over-Ear, Closed-Back, and Foldable by Hideo Tsuchida ᠌

Not a bad product, but you can find a better one.

For a long time I looked after the ears in the middle price range, read the reviews, watched the reviews. Most opinions agreed that these AKGs did not have enough bass, which is more preferable for me. But it turned out that this bass has nowhere to go, hands are reaching for the equalizer! And for the most part, this is not bass, but a rumble in the region of 80-100Hz. And yes, this is when connected by wire. If you move the cups a little so that a gap appears between the ear pads and the head, then the bass does not press so hard, but these are “crutches” . Especially since with such an action both the middle and the top float away. In fairness, it should be noted that with the help of an equalizer, you can achieve a detailed balanced sound, incl. tight bass. The panorama is very boring, but many closed headphones sin with this. Maybe this only applies to the headphones that were brought to me, but the wireless connection only worked with bt 5.0. Connection with bt 4. X does not work correctly (connection falls off and nasty clicks, if the connection still holds for some time). The laptop + bt 5.0 adapter kept the connection stable. Touch control does not respond well to touch. Issued a return due to backward compatibility issues bt. Do not change my phone, tablet and TV because of the headphones.

Pros
  • Comfortable fit. Good mids and highs. Autonomy. The quality of materials.
Cons
  • Low frequencies (boomy bass). Boring panorama (perhaps a matter of taste). Touch control (poor touch response). Micro-usb charging port (no comment). Bluetooth connection: Poor backwards compatibility with 4. X versions (clicks and constant loss of connection).
