This gadget is a MUST HAVE if you have an instant pot and fryer lid! It was so quick and easy to use! The food was delicious and made it easier for me to cook something for busy weeknights! Ready-made chicken and pepper skewers What I made for this: Potatoes: I bought a bag of miniature red potatoes. I washed them and let them dry. Then cut them in half and place them in a bowl to toss with some olive oil and spices. String them up and place them in a pressure cooker. Cover the air fryer with a lid and cook in air fryer mode at 400 degrees for 18-20 minutes. I made 20 minutes and the potatoes were delicious. Chicken: I bought a packet of already diced chicken breasts (the easy way). I then marinated in teriyaki for 4 hours. I put chicken together with pepper (you can use any vegetable). I then air fried them at 350 for 17 minutes (I set them to 20 but checked with a thermometer after 17 and the chicken was 168 so I stopped early). The chicken was so moist and juicy. an asset to my picky family. Next time I wouldn't cook them both on the same night. I had to boil the potatoes first and then put them in a warm oven while the chicken cooked. Next time I'll just make one of the items and prepare something else for her! It was easy to clean too, I just soaked the skewers in water and then hand washed, you can put them in the dishwasher but I didn't know if the baked potato would come off. I will also try oiling the skewers before the potatoes next time, the chicken came off easily but the potatoes were kind of sticky. The only thing I would like is that it's bigger and can hold more at once (this isn't an issue with a rack the size of my instant pot though (I have the original 6 liter model). Might be time for be an update!
