Review on Matador MP 47 Hectorra 3 185/65 R14 86T summer by Jnis Krmi ᠌

Cool product, happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy it again.

Purchased from the beginning of 2022, size 205/55R17 for the Focus 2 after Yokohama Advan (the Toyota Corolla comes fully assembled). Rubber tires are sufficient for urban driving that does not involve severe maneuvers. She is calm and quite comfortable, but her precise handling is not her strong suit; even an Advan that has been deleted to "zero" performed better than she did in this regard when she was ten years old. If "on the fingers," then it's the same as reducing the diameter of the wheels. Before, after changing the winter R15s, I would always feel a rise in drive when converting to the summer R16s. However, I did not experience this gain in drive with the Hectorra 3, as if I had switched some slippers for others:). However, I would recommend tires because, for many people, comfort (particularly auditory comfort) is more important than any other driver's item. This tire is appropriate for eighty percent of drivers since it has good wear resistance (visually, I didn't see it at all in a city over fifteen thousand kilometers), good fuel efficiency, and an inexpensive price. Also, according to the testing, it does not hold a side skid on wet pavement. While this may be true, the question remains: how frequently do you go through corners in the rain when you are on the verge of skidding? Exactly, and during that time I didn't have the chance to check it; moreover, do you think that checking it is absolutely necessary?

Pros
  • Quiet, inexpensive, durable and economical.
Cons
  • Whenever you put these tires on your Ford Focus, it transforms into a Toyota Corolla! And regrettably, this does not have anything to do with dependability:)))
