They are very cute. The canvas is smooth and a bit shiny, rather than the usual rough and scratchy canvas. That makes me think it's synthetic and not natural. Even the description says "Made from eco-friendly, breathable burlap". The inside of the bag is lined with white synthetic material. What exactly is the burlap material made of? We do not know. I find it very frustrating to order something that is supposed to be "sustainable" only to find that it isn't because it doesn't degrade in the environment. I would also like to add that before ordering I realized that the organza was most likely synthetic. But since the rest was (presumably) natural and the entire bag was reusable, I was ready to look the other way. But the whole bag is most likely synthetic. it changes things. In addition, the bags are well made and durable. They also work as I intended. Keep in mind that the body (the bottom of the tip, NOT the body on top) is just over 12 inches. The synthetic tip at the top is approximately 1.75 inches long, which translates to approximately 14 inches. Made in China.
