Review on Bluetooth Transmitter for TOKSEL Headphones and Earphones by Tammy Thomas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Test report read very well many details TV setup

The receiver was built into the digital output of a new Samsung 32" television. The television is mounted on a high wall using a VESA mount on the wall The transmitter is powered by the USB port TV (perfect, no problem) Every time I turn off the TV, the transmitter stays on the line for about 15 seconds and then turns off This also means when i'm watching tv and an error occurs, i turn off the tv, i have 15 seconds to turn it back on, if the channel turns off after 15 seconds, i have to turn on the tv, get out of bed and turn the channel back on manually (this will not come back online on its own Also note that the headphones must be powered on (and charged) or the transmitter will auto-authenticate after 30 seconds sswitches off if it doesn't recognize the headphones. For the sake of simplicity, I go to my bedroom to lay on the bed and watch TV, I get the headphones, turn them on, take the TV remote control, turn it on, go to the TV and turn on the channel. (Yes, it's a sequence) If you have a TV mounted to the wall, I recommend mounting the transmitter in an easy-to-access spot with double-sided tape on the bottom edge of the TV. This is because of my previous explanation. You will see that the transmitter is upside down in the pictures and I've placed the pictures so you won't be wrong. This is because the round large transmitter power button is facing down. The Bluetooth pairing switch and RX/TX switch are facing forward where I can see them clearly; On one side are the cables, USB and SPIDF digital connections. The light is directed sideways, not forward, so it doesn't bother me at night. I also put a small piece of black tape on the TV's red light so as not to bother me. Do not cover the transmitter light; You need to see what's going on and it turns itself off after you turn off the TV anyway. Connect one end of the digital cable to the TV, connect the other end of the digital cable to the jack marked TX on the transmitter, and then slide the switch to the TX position. If you are connecting a digital cable for the first time, please note that the ends are not round. Look at her; has a cutout also the connection to the TV and the transmitter have a notch; Make sure the cables in the TV and transmitter line up with the notches. Do not bend the cable; If you have an extra cable, roll it up exactly as it was packaged. Now for the flashing indicators, which doesn't make any sense in the instructions. Provided that the transmitter and headphones are already paired and the batteries in the headphones are charged. Turn on the headphones and they will flash red and blue. Turn on the TV and the channel indicator will glow red. Press the round bottom of the transmitter for 3-5 seconds and it will turn green. The headphone indicator will turn off and flash blue every few seconds while connected to the transmitter. Pairing, transmitter and headphones must be paired at the factory; otherwise, read the manual (if you wanted it too easy, you'll have to be patient, lol). At least I told you how to place the transmitter in one place and in such a way that all the switches are easily accessible. Now for a review of the product itself. I have previously explained to you the logic of how it works and I personally don't think much about it; I've gotten used to it. I'd rather not turn the transmitter on manually every time. It should work by itself once the TV is turned on and the TV powers the transmitter. The connection is good and I don't have any interference; I don't know how long the batteries will last; So far they've been on for about 4 hours at most and no complaints about the battery so far. I like headphones that have the strap on my shoulders; It doesn't bother me in bed. The volume controls are intuitive once I know the location; I just had to learn not to touch the pairing button; The switch should be away from the volume buttons. Sound is normal and clear, no base, good for TV but not so good for music. The connection between headphones and receiver is good; I had no problems. The instruction manual is ok but can be a bit confusing. I have my Samsung TV set for digital audio only; There is no sound from the TV speakers. I love this feature as the original idea was to keep the adjacent rooms of the house quiet; even if I turn up the volume with the TV remote, nothing happens; This is a great feature. The volume can only be adjusted via the integrated headphone volume buttons. I hope you enjoyed the review.
