Review on 💧 Efficient Performance with Gates 43034 Water Pump: A Trustworthy Solution by Nate Jenkins

There is a line in the documentation for the water pump that the pump may look and have different dimensions than the OEM but that's no reason to worry. Things like that make me nervous when I see them, and unfortunately it rings true here. It was nice that they included a metal tube that connects to the heater hose and an o-ring where the tube connects to the water pump. However, the tube that came with it didn't match the screw holes, so it couldn't be used. In fact, my old pump's heater tube was recently replaced (size was identical to OEM), but due to the size difference on the new pump, it hasn't twisted either. I rebuilt my old one and at least I could screw it on. I've been using Gates belts for a long time. Although I'm not sure I'll be using other parts of it.
