I built a new shower and saved that detail for later. I opted for the chrome nipple and some trim. Next I thought that maybe there could be a suitable solution to this task, and here it is! When it comes to sanitary facilities, you pay for quality. This is the high visibility part and if I went cheap I would have to stand there every time I showered and be reminded that I went cheap not premium. I'm so glad I bought this part. Everyone who has looked at my work seems to have focused on that one part and commented on how good the finished shower looks. The part itself is made from solid brass with a chrome finish. It may look like a chrome cap fitting in the picture, but it is a solid cast brass. It feels heavy for its size, which is usually good for plumbing work. Yes, you pay a little more for this gem, but it's worth it.
