Review on 🔧 NPT Tapered Thread Pipe Hexagonal by Jason Melvin

Purchased to connect straight pipe thread check valves and NPT thread silicon bronze check valves. I like having at least 5-6 threads in the valve and this tapered thread punches straight pipe to fit NPT threads. Apply a little Permatex Teflon paste to the threads for a perfect seal. It took more effort to cut the thread than I expected to keep the tool sharper; must repeatedly move back and forth to cut effectively.
