After searching all over YouTube and the web for a solution I decided that unfortunately this item should be returned.1. Unfortunately, it's not exactly "plug and play". My 2010 F-150 FX2 has a third brake light (white) that illuminates (white) when I'm reversing, when my doors are open, and when I manually turn the lights on from inside. I love this feature because it's incredibly useful at night, when camping, on the driveway to set up, etc. If that means my wiring was done differently, I don't see how I should buy a different case without sticking with incandescent bulbs or LED. 2. If you don't have a backlight, this product can probably be as bright as LEDs and looks like it's on your truck. The pad thickness was my favorite part. As another owner with a "leak," a gasket seemed like a convenient solution to the problem. like to hear. I spent nearly 4 hours on each combination, swapping plugs and couldn't get both red and white to glow in the same test. It was one or the other no matter what I did.
