I don't normally test anything for the first thirty days, but I was pleasantly surprised to test it before any thorough use. Also, I originally wanted to buy the USB-C version, but the person who now needs to copy the disk didn't switch to USB-C, so I reluctantly ordered the USB-A version. What was surprising was that there was a USB-A to USB-C adapter in the box, which looks like a high-speed version (it has extra pins and is blue). That way I can transfer it and continue using it with my USB-C devices in the future. It's a minor thing, but since the adapters themselves sell for around $7 and the description doesn't mention they're provided, I was pleasantly surprised. As a side note, I almost didn't buy this brand because it had an Amazon Choice banner and the competing brand had more reviews. Now I could add some more promotions to the Amazon selection banner. Oh I tried that too and it worked as advertised. In any case, I don't plan on doing any speed tests or anything like that, but if it seems slow or something like that I'll update this review.
