I had almost given up shooting scoped pistols when I came across these and read the reviews. I decided they were worth it (no pun intended) and ordered a +1.0 HP pair. Based on other reviews they seemed a bit stronger than regular reading glasses so I ordered 1.0 where I normally wear +1.75 reading glasses. While I may eventually try a few +0.75s, +1.0 definitely worked for me. I did a rimfire match with a .22 caliber pistol with a scope and the scope image was good enough to let me win the match. I was concerned they might cause excessive blur on 25m targets, but that wasn't a problem. They are light and very comfortable. Although they come with a cloth pouch, they are just a cloth pouch. At best, tossing them in a shooting bag is probably a good idea. Other than that, their only downside is that I now have to keep track of two pairs of shooting glasses - this pair for mechanical sights and my other pair for collimator optics. If you have aging eyes and want to stick with your visor longer, this is definitely worth a try.
