I drill stoneware and granite with it. The drill bits cut well and I keep them well lubricated and water cooled. However, I'm only giving them 3 stars because the "core" gets stuck in the bit and it's very frustrating to get it out. The kit includes two extraction pins; but they really don't work. The problem lies in the kerf - the distance between the inside diameter of the drill's hollow center and the inside diameter of the "synthetic diamond grit"; it's too close The outside cut is good, ie "synthetic diamond grit" is much larger than the outside diameter of the drill shank so the drill does not get stuck in the hole. The accumulation of "synthetic diamond grit” needs to be larger INSIDE the bit to allow the cutter bar to easily slide out of the hollow center of the bit.
