I have an old Gateway desktop computer. It's older but I built it to be ahead of its time compared to the Ram and CU and it works great, the only problem is that it only has two USB ports on the front and I use a few devices , for which you need connectors, including two different mice for different systems, headphones with a microphone, you understand. I needed more ports, and I also wanted to be able to charge mice while using devices. I've had this hub for about a month now and it works great, just wish I needed it. Just make sure you actually turn on (press the button) the "charger" port when charging your device. Compact for so many ports. I have no complaints, looks very modern with the backlight :) Attractive for a techie like me. Recommend if this is your need. I am currently using 6 of the available ports. 5 blue and one red to change. Like it a lot.
