Review on Stens 055-481 Solid State Module for Kohler 52 584 02-S Engine by Paul Stocks

12/03/2016The price of this product naturally appealed to me. Settings or warranty and return information in case something went wrong. t After removal from the packaging, the spark plug rubber boots and plugs (torsion springs) were also separated and had to be reassembled. Since there were no instructions at all, I used common sense when assembling these parts. I installed the module and adjusted the gap to about 0.010, everything worked, the engine started and ran smoothly. I drove the tractor for about 20 minutes and it looks like I succeeded. I cannot predict the durability of this piece but it appears to be well made and is an exact replica of the original. 3 runs means everything is fine and it is. The lack of paperwork and the need to assemble the ends of the connector wires is why I rated it a three. If something goes wrong I will post more information.
