Review on 🔒 Huber ZIP System Liquid-Flash: 29 Ounce Cartridge for Waterproof and Airtight Liquid Flashing Sealant by Tyler Suarez

Just installed a 5/8 inch zippered trim strip on an outhouse on our property. Used zip system tape on all seams according to directions. plug well below the coated skin surface. This is difficult to accomplish with the Southern Yellow Pine nail gun. Rather than proudly raising the nails, I adjusted the gun so they were driven in too hard to go below the surface. Zip says it's good if you don't lose about a third of the panel's thickness Since it would be weeks before I put a metal roof in, I didn't want to risk Florida rain getting into those nail holes and exploding the Zip sheathing, which is ultimately OSB. I tossed a 29 ounce tube of Liquid Flash into the gun and in less than an hour I slathered on EVERY nail by lightly tapping with a spatula. Done and done. I will also use this around the door and window openings after I've hp the 1/2 inch zipper sheathing on the wall. Great system and I don't have to worry about the wind blowing felt off the roof or tyvek off the walls!
