I upgraded my Dell G3 3779 laptop by replacing the original C: drive, SK Hynix 128GB SSD, with this Crucial P5 1TB. Higher performance and much larger capacity. I used a USB 3.1 NVMe PCIe enclosure (Amazon #B07MNFH1PX) to clone an SSD on a P5. I used the cloning feature from a free copy of Macrium Reflect and not Crucial's version of Acronis True Image because Acronis requires a new SSD to be installed before cloning and Macrium allowed me to clone before opening the laptop. Macrium also made it easy to resize the primary SSD partition to take full advantage of the larger storage space. Installation went smoothly and the machine booted from the new hard drive immediately after installation. No problems and very happy with the result. Before ordering from Revain, I checked compatibility with the Crucial setup tool on their website. The Crystal Disk mark certifies that the disk meets published specifications.
