Review on 🍨 Deliciously Frozen Treats with Onyx POP004 Stainless Steel Popsicle Mold by Josh Valentino

The best for homemade ice cream!

I love popsicles and keep them in my freezer all year round. No kids, just me and my lifelong popsicle habit. I prefer not to add all the sugar and prefer to make my own with 100% fruit juice and fruit chunks. I used plastic molds and sticks and wasn't happy. They warp or get lost in the dishwasher, are too small and awkward to wash by hand. Most of them are single molds that are messy to make and even harder to demould, especially since you have to take the whole mold out to get a popsicle. So I gave up on homemade and just started buying them at the store. Then I found these forms. They are cool! They can be washed in the dishwasher, do not deform, and are easy to use. Their weight prevents the tip from splashing and the fact that they are separate makes cleaning up after manufacture easier. Having used bamboo spatulas and chopsticks for decades, I know that bamboo is the only wood that can be sterilized in the dishwasher so the chopsticks can be reused. I've made several batches and love the ease of use. I crushed a lot of cherries and added some 100% Knudsen cherry juice. Wonderful! (Of course, I learned the hard way that this doesn't apply to blueberries. Ah! Those thick shells are only good for sandpaper popsicles!)
