Review on August Auto Heavy Duty Rubber Universal All Weather Cargo Mats – Trimmable to Fit, Cargo Liner Floor Mat Set for Sedans, SUVs, Trucks, Vans – Gray, Pack of 1 by David Angelboy

It didn't fit perfectly on my old '96 Subaru Legacy Outback. It was a little shorter in the back at around 8-12 inches, but it covered the area I needed well. I found I didn't have to cut the lines as it was easy enough to trim them to the right shape, which I did at the very end when I rounded the corners during installation. Cutting the lines left an area about 1.5 inches wide that exposes the carpeting next to the wheel arches. Since I carry things like car parts and such, I wanted something that would be oil resistant. (I restore parts for my Subaru from "pull" locations as I need to make repairs and this works great when I need to vacuum up oil as spills don't get onto the carpet making it easier to clean up. .) I also wanted something lighter so as not to absorb too much light which makes my car very hot in the mornings; Since it's not summer now, I don't know how well it will fight it, but I'm optimistic. I'm glad I have protection now, when seriously I should have had one long ago.
