I bought this magazine hoping it had the same watercolor paper as Carp. I figured if it was regular paper it still wouldn't be too outrageous a price for a fancy cover hardcover sketch magazine. Luckily it looks like it's the same paper as the Karp cover, which I also bought on a separate order. It's thin for toilet paper, but I've had no issues with it warping or warping when I paint. It seems quite comparable to other toilet magazines I have, it has more pages than most of them and you get the bonus of a fancy cover. And the cover is awesome. The attached image was created using my Koi water brush and Windsor and Newton watercolors. The colors retained their brilliance and lay flat. I am very happy with this magazine and may buy a few other cover models.
