Review on Magicfly Digital Automatic Incubator Chickens by Deejay Allard

I received the incubator on Friday and installed it on Friday evening. I laid my eggs there on Saturday (yesterday) and the temperature and humidity fluctuate so much I'm fed up with the eggs hatching. Maybe it's too early to know, but I'm considering bringing it back. I currently have it wrapped in a blanket to keep it warm (to keep temp and humidity stable) but in an incubator this isn't accurate. It reads 40.0 degrees Celsius which is the highest temperature it can withstand and the thermometer I bought to make sure reads 97.5. (37.5 degrees Celsius should be 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit, but it isn't.) Humidity is the same. Last night it was 67 percent humidity and today it's somewhere between 45 and 55. And yes, there is water in the incubator. The instructions were dubious, but understandable with patience. Definitely not a waste of money but like I said I'm suspicious of the hatch rate we're going to see. Time will tell and I will post an update in about 30 days. Update: So far 6 out of 7 duck eggs are doing well. One of them stopped growing and I think it's due to the size of the eggs and not rolling properly between the others. As long as you keep an eye on the temperature and adjust if necessary, it works! Update: This incubator is useless. The temperature fluctuates so frequently that all of the eggs have been killed except for one that I had. All but 1 of the 7 eggs developed and felt great. A spike in temperature caused all but one of the eggs to die before hatching. The cub had deformities and health problems that killed her when she was a week old. Waste of money and little life. Will never use it again and will not regret the purchase. I know there's always "the same person" who gives a terrible review, but honestly I'm not happy with it.
