Review on 🧣 Fishers Finery Ladies' 100% Cashmere Slouch Beanie by Terrence Castillo

This is not a thick arctic hat - warm, but not like a mukluk. I have a large head (7 5/8) and lots of hair and this hat has good stretch without being too tight. When not working, it is approximately 21 inches in diameter. In the photo, the bottom edge lies flat: in person it's slightly curved, which I think looks nice. The hat is 28 cm deep: when I pull it all the way down, it completely covers my head to the chin. This is the most beautiful hat I've ever seen (since I lost my lovely old one) - even though it's made in China. I love the total lack of ribbing or cables and I love how the shape is achieved purely through knitting. To me some of the ones sewn on to create the dome look like the hat is covering little fox ears. Not that I have anything against foxes. I like the hat to be less bulky at the back of the head (so it sits like a bell, close to the skull) and I don't want to fold it in to make a cuff. However, simply folding it at the nape creates a bell-shaped silhouette. You can wear it in different ways. It is very soft and the turquoise color is wonderful. I wish they stocked more colors - I would buy more.
