Don't waste your money or time!

GOODTS - DVR - D013 Don't waste your money or time! I had high hopes for this little dash cam based on reviews and presumably videos uploaded by real users. All I can say is that even before I installed it in my car, my hopes were gone. The packaging was great! I was confident that I had a quality product. Then I began to carefully review and then read the black-and-white "Instruction Manual.” On page 1, labeled "Product Structure" which I think would be better called "Components and Features" is a sketch, and I mean a "sketch" of the DVR with numbered lines leading to the various parts are drawn. If you look at the left side of the chart, you can see that the numbers are out of order, making it a bit awkward. As? You have to look for the names of the different parts on the second page. On page 2, the "Legend" consists of three columns with numbered parts that correspond to the numbered rows in the chart. The problem is that you have to read numbers left-to-right, not top-to-bottom; how one would expect to read the elements in a column. It would be much more readable if the items were numbered consecutively, starting with the first column. This would also be the ideal place to determine the function of each piece. The "Installation Guide” also begins on page 2 before you become familiar with the setup and operation. is it just me I would like to know something about the operation of this item before installing it in a vehicle. Therefore, move the installation guide to the end before "Product Specifications”. Oh, the left-hand drive mirror image is more suited to the North American market. "...installation tips" could have been merged into the installation guide instead of having a separate section. I was hoping there would be a section called "Installation and Operation" but there isn't. While turning it on (it makes an annoying beep with no instructions on how to turn it off) and pressing different buttons, I found three different buttons on the video screen to choose from: 1) "Mass Storage" with no description of what it is or how to use it , 2) "PC Camera" again, no description, or 3) "REC_mode". When I click on a storage device, the flash drive icon appears and you can't exit it. You need to unplug the power cord. The same thing happens when I click on the PC camera; it will display an icon of probably a motion camera. Only when I press REC_mode do I go to camera view. From page 3 to page 6 you will find various features that should be the features of this dash cam. There are some lines of text and some icons that appear to be "highlighted" but are almost "redacted" as a result. Even with a magnifying glass I can't tell what to see. I could keep going if I didn't have other important things to do, so here it is. Someone else can pick up where I left off. World
