Update: This lasted much longer with no air leaks, as expected: 13 months instead of 6 months for Japanese models. The first leak was difficult to find: right at the beginning, where the zipper attaches to the case. It's a tricky spot to fix, but I can handle it. The warranty is over for a month, and the seller refuses to change. I still love the tub but I can no longer say it's a great price. It costs more than twice as much as the Japanese models, but didn't last twice as long without needing repairs. Excellent bath. I've had other inflatable tubs from a Japanese manufacturer, but even with careful maintenance (and tape) I couldn't last them more than 6 months before leaks started to appear. Tubble is much thicker in construction. Also, the drain works very well, with a better position (bottom, actually) and a longer hose. The bathtub is also slightly longer and wider than the ones I've had before, although the sides curve inward, taking away some of that extra width. My only complaint would be the floor. The airbox is too thick, causing the air to move too much underneath you and pool in one or two areas. However, this was not a violation of the terms of the contract. I just don't inflate it, which I wouldn't do with inferior tubs, since that's where it would leak first. A yoga mat or other rug under the tub will provide some cushioning.
