When I received my KS21 I tested it with two 1 year old batteries. For both batteries, the CCA was significantly higher than the battery label. I was concerned that the device was not working accurately. I contacted the seller who responded in less than 24 hours. He explained that the device worked well and that when the battery was healthy, the meters often showed more CCA than the label said. Batteries are labeled CCA at 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and obviously I haven't come close to that temperature since living in a warm climate. The seller stated that each meter is tested before leaving the factory. Found other people on the net with a meter from another manufacturer with the same experience and question as me, so it makes perfect sense. Customer care is very important to me and the seller gave it.
