Not sure I would trust this in a hazardous or very humid environment, but the box is sealed. The switches are modular and appear to be of good quality. They are all bipolar, one side is normally open and the other normally closed. The rotary switch is in the middle off position. The kit even comes with a small wrench to tighten the nuts on the plate. The buttons are not backlit (which is clearly indicated in the description), but an enterprising person can easily disconnect the contact module and put an LED in it.
