I'm not a fan of reviews but I thought it best to voice my concerns about this item. The seller claims that the laptop closes with the privacy screen installed. If you plan to use it in one place, open it on your desk and never travel. You can close it and it will stay closed as shown in the pictures. Once you put it in a briefcase, or in my case a Filson bag, the laptop stays open. Approximately 3/8 inch. At this point, it opens and closes with each step. You can close it and it will reopen. You take the privacy screen off and it closes and stays closed as intended. See attached picture of the opening.
