I've only been wearing these compression stockings for two days, time will tell. But as soon as I put them on I was amazed at how easily they fit around the foot and ankle. My calves and feet feel a lot more comfortable and relaxed and there is no sign of ankle or foot swelling - which was my reason for ordering in the first place. As this is my first and only experience with compression stockings, I have no basis for comparison, but I agree with other reviewers who mention that there is no "too tight" upper on these socks. When I take them off I have no "dent" in the skin below the knee, nor any markings underneath that would indicate an area that is too tight. They also absorb moisture and your feet can get quite wet if you stand on the edge of the competition pool during a swimming competition!
