Ideal for mobile scanning - the kind of scans you take when you go to a library, office or anywhere else. Use it as a fax replacement for printed documents, an alternative to photocopying and carrying around, a handy device for sorting and jotting down receipts, bills and more when traveling, and it works great. Scanners for completely different products or simply slammed for lack of support. (I agree: support sucks, download doesn't work and reinstalling drivers adds SPYWARE, BMupdate.exe is ugly). a particularly long job, and it seems pretty random. This slows things down but is not a fatal error. However, for real estate, student, legal, design and other niches, this scanner is ideal. Don't like its portability? Try dragging a full-size flatbed or sheet + power supply to the library!
