Bought to replace old desktop speakers, use both speaker and headset. So I use them on my desktop and switch between them all the time. Pros: Great sound, great build quality, decent volume, very clean playback with the right sound card. Cons: Power switch location (on the back of the speaker). on the speakers because my headset uses a 600 ohm preamp. If you're just using speakers then that's great, but if you're switching between them it's a major downside. Aside from the lack of volume control, a really good speaker set, the sound is similar to my Sennheiser pc-350 headset, just not quite there, but close. Pliers fine tune the equalizers.
