Review on ๐Ÿ  Discover the Magic of the As Seen On TV 56028 My Fun Fish Tank - A Mini Aquarium Sensation! by Luis Thompson

It seems to deliver what it promises.

I'm conflicted. I want a pet and this aquarium seems to allow me to have fish with an easy water change. I used to have an aquarium and didn't want a larger aquarium to work. However, I read something after I bought the aquarium and fish. I realized that this tank is too small for most fish unless I can live with myself by forcing the fish to live in this small tank. On the first day the rooster fish behaved very little, so I put a mini heater in the aquarium. He seems happy, and by happy I mean he swims up and down most of the day and eats very little. It's been 4 days. So far, so good. TO UPDATE. I noticed the rooster swam up for air and then back down where it got tight. Imagine walking in a four foot box. You really won't be able to take a full step before having to turn around. This is what the Betta looked like. I put him in a smaller tank when I change the water so it's not a waste of time but I broke down and bought him a 2+ gallon tank. He swims a lot more and seems happier with more space. Another observation is that I used a heater because the fighting cock didn't swim much when the temperature was below 70 degrees. However, when I had the heater in the tank with the lid closed, the temperature was over 85 degrees. Bette didn't like that much and he looked like he was about to pop out.

Pros
  • This self-cleaning tank requires little maintenance
Cons
  • No instructions
